About the owners

A piece of history

We are Rianne and Adriaan, the 4th generation of the Van Hoek family living on De Biestraatse Weide farm.

Adriaan’s great-grandfather started a dairy farm here in 1904. Until recently, we, too, had a farm with dairy cows.

Due to stricter regulations and a lack of succession, we decided to take on new challenge. Inspired by the beautiful surroundings of Grensland de Baronie and its expansive views, the idea of starting a B&B was born.

Apartments were created in the former stables, and at the back of the farm we created a garden with an orchard and terraces, so that guests can enjoy the wide view in peace.

A wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at B&B De Biestraatse Weide. The apartments are spacious, stylishly decorated and fully equipped. The bed was lovely and the luxurious finish really gave a hotel feel. From our accommodation we looked out over the vast meadows - a great view to start the day with! During the day we took beautiful bike rides through the surrounding nature reserves and enjoyed the tranquility in the evening. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to relax in comfortable and cozy surroundings!

Perfect place to unwind

What a delightful B&B! The location is wonderful: in the middle of nature, with endless biking and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. We enjoyed the silence, the wide views and the hospitality of Rianne and Adriaan. The apartments are luxurious and stylishly furnished, with a lovely bed and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything exudes quality and comfort. We will definitely come back here to recharge all over again!

Top stay with luxury and nature in abundance!

We had a fantastic weekend at The Biestraat Meadow! The apartments are spacious, modern and very comfortable, furnished with attention to detail. The combination of luxury and the tranquility of the countryside makes this place unique. From the B&B we took beautiful walks through the nearby nature reserves and enjoyed a relaxing bike ride through the region. Without a doubt, this is a place we would love to come back to again!
